Inverted Pyramid Writing- Kat Crawford

The president of Acme Construction company, the city manager, and the city councilman may have all been involved in recent plane crash. Nearly 30 minutes ago, a twin-engine plane crashed into the woods while attempting to land at the local airport. A plane carrying the president of Acme Construction and the city officials was due around the same time of the crash. The plane has yet to be identified and no condition reports are available. However, a hospital spokesman confirms that six people from a plane crash have been admitted.

Despite the temperature dropping to 18 degrees below zero last night, schools will remain open. Dr. Ken Gray, school superintendent, reported that schools will open this morning but buses will not run as usual. Since only half of the city's buses started this morning, buses will only run on country routes to pick up students who live farthest from schools. Lincoln Elementary will not open because the heating plant failed, but Washington Elementary will hold classes. Marjorie Thomas, president of the Washington School PTA, says all the schools should close.
